- Azumi Setoda has inherited the 140-year-old mansion . We host our guests with traditional "omotenashi" and modern arrangement as a Japanese ryokan. Please enjoy the great relaxing homey time.

- We host our guests with traditional "omotenashi" and modern arrangement as a Japanese ryokan. Please enjoy the great relaxing homey time. There are four types of room in the two storied guest pavilion. The rooms are made with cedar, cypress, washi, and granite, creating comfort in this contemporary expression of sukiya style design. The rooms are made of several different kind of wood such as cypress and pine tree, adopting so called "sukiya-zukuri" style. Hollywood twin beds can be joined to make into a king sized bed upon request. Each room has cypress bath tub where the guests will be totally healed and relaxed. All the guests staying at Azumi are also offered free access to "yubune", the public bath which is located across the street.

The biggest stations nearby where JR Nozomi-express stops are "Fukuyama" or "Hiroshima". Please change trains to Kodama-Shinkansen or JR local line and reach closer to "Onomichi" or "Mihara" to transfer to the ferry boat. ◆From Fukuyama Station: About 70 minutes by car. ◆Using ferry boat from Onomichi or Mihara - From Onomichi Port: about 40mins to Setoda Port - From Mihara Port: about 30 minutes to Setoda Port ◆Arriving by air plane: From Hiroshima Airport: about 60 mins by car - Using bus: Airport bus to Mihara port, then transfer to the ferry boat, total about 90 minutes. - Car rental : About 60 minutes in total. Head to Ikuchijima Kita Interchange via Sanyo Expressway and Shimanami Kaido.
